If one accepts Paul Whitehouse, Merrit Ruhlen et al.'s taxonomic
classification of the isolate Kusunda language of Nepal as a member
the `Indo-Pacific' language super-family as defined by Joseph H.
Greenberg, one might well expect a presence of other, by now
extinct `Indo-Pacific'-speaking groups in prehistoric eastern India.
