Well, by the time Lat. ce:pa (thus, rather than <caepa>) and caelum were
borrowed into Albanian, the vowel was already Balkan Romance */e/ or
*/E/ and was treated accordingly in Albanian, /E/ being equated with
native *iƤ (<je>) and developing regularly into /ie/ in <qiell>. I can't
see a group of vowels in either case.
