Sihler mentions Germanic *ska:p- "sheep" vs. Skt.(?) 'chaga' "goat" as
a example of PIE *gW > Germanic *p. Bur the word is West Germanic
only, and the Nordwestblock territory is sheep country. Perhaps all
PIE *gW > Germanic *p are substrate loans and skewing the picture thus?
