Suffixed nasalised zero-grade form *wr.H2nd-ya: > Alb. Geg <rrânzë>,
Toks <rrëzë> `feet (of the mountain), probably from *wr. > rr, *-edn-
> -en- > Geg <-ân>, Toks <-ën->. So, as *-nd-, as well as *–dn-, to
my view, underwent the assimilation *-nd-/*-dn- > -nn- > -n-.
Cluster /-mb-/-nd-/ are secondary and are result of getting
homorganic sounds m > mb, n > nd. Cf. also Alb. <rrem>, probably
derived from zero-grade form *wrH2d-mo `oar' (dm > mm > m.
