Any historical or demographic scenario has to offer a convincing
explanation for a range of linguistic problems. Since the point was
treated at great length in earlier postings there is no sense in
repeating everything again, but merely two examples:
(1) The massive Albanian-Romanian connection, which needs a time and
a place.
(2) The time and place where the Common Romanian innovations evolved.
Kelley L. Ross appears to be unaware of these and other problems with
linguistic (and demographic) implications.
