Dear Patrick,

If you'd like to poll the list, you're welcome. If you want my personal
opinion, however, I would prefer to leave things as they are. The
Cybalist moderatorship is hardly strict, and it's perhaps better for the
scope of the list to be officially narrow but de facto somewhat broader
than to be officially broader and de facto unconstrained. There are
several other lists, especially Nostratic-L (closely allied to
Cybalist), where the broader issues may be freely discussed.
