Could you give another examples of this root?
 
Borrhas < *Borsa:ha:s
Boreas < *Bora:sa:s or *Bore:sa:s
Perhaps this *Borsas- is cognate to Perse:s/Perseus/Persaios.

The usual explanation of Greek North Wind Boreas/Borhaas is from PIE *gWerH- "mountain". I think this explanation have some problems. I feel that is more likely a source <*bH-, perhaps through some Northern dialect (similar to Macedonian, maybe, cf. Bilippos for Philippos), and the same way Boiotia <*bHoi-.
Any comments?
