I also apologise for any sarcasm that may have slipped into my postings,
and now let's forget about the whole thing. If I specialised in studies
of Slavic hydronymy, some of my bookshelves would of course be stacked
with monographs and article collections by my Ukrainian colleagues. As
it is, I have some such literature within easy reach, but following your
references was not really a simple job. Thanks for the excellent idea of
uploading the article. Beastly decent of you, old chap :)

It's really a shame that the Eastern Slavs are so underrepresented on a
forum founded by a Russian. I've never tried to attract new members by
sending direct invitations to academic institutions, but perhaps i
should consider such a move.
