Danish has an odd subtractive rule (which reminds one of the Russian
one for forming gen.pl. of f. and n. nouns): to get the imperative,
subtract -e from the infinitive (if it has one). This results in
such forms as
'forvandl!' "change!"
'forandr!' "change!"
'ændr!' "change!",
'handl!' "act!"
'forbedr! "improve!"
'myldr!' "teem!"

They are correct, but mostly avoided by paraphrase. If they are
used, then tongue in cheek.
