If I am right that in a certain period of time the ancient PIE *s
became sonoroized in /z/ in a certain phonological medium in
substratual words, then we have a very interesting appearance since
we know that the reflex of PIE "*kW/+" (as per Piotr) is "c^" in Rom.

thus, sekW3/+ > *zec^. The meaning of PIE word should be "to say" and
the meaning in the certain Balkan Language should be "to say" at well.

the phonetic asspect of "*zec^" does appear very appropiate to
Rom. "zice". Interesting path I would say....
