That's right.

Hehe, but most of the German-speaking regions are
covered by <nit, net> (I'd rather say that <nicht>
and <nich> are used by... minorities :-)) Then [ha:m]
for <haben> is also a quasi pan-German occurrence; so,
['ha:nyt] can be deduced as being some kind of <ham>+
<nit> => <hannit>.
