BTW, why the different spelling in DR and AR for
[tS]? The pronunciation is the same in both major
dialects of Romanian. (And we shouldn't be mislead
by the "ci" spelling into thinking there were an
[i] after [tS]: it's only an [j], *if any*; this is
why -ciune, -cior make a single syllable in the
afore mentioned examples.)

(BTW, <urît> "ugly; hated; despicable" generates

Slavic origin, I suppose), <urîcios>, <urîciune>.)
