a question for the group...

hello,

I was wondering if any of you might know what the word "arruya" might
mean, and what language base it might come from? I did a search on it
online, and it came up as originating from several different language
sources or bases, including Indonesian, Turkish, and Polish.

I have no clue what it means, although I have heard this word
keeping "popping up" in my head for many years now. Any help with a
meaning for it, or a translation, and/or a language base would be
greatly appreciated, along with any link referrals you might have on
hand as well.
