I understand your alusion now. I see Vinereanu published his work on
"Dava". You got me curious and I asked him about. He suggested to go and
see it on Dava.
His opinion regarding "aproape" I will give to the last. Since he makes
(as usual) a big deal of labiovelar's treatment in Thraco-Dacian which
should be the same as in Osco-Umbria, then he offers an another
explanation.
I guess just because I mentionated that "appropiere" is a late Latin
word ( I mentionated Itala here) , you have thought I must know
something of its work, this should be the explanation for "Don't image
you can fool me".
Did you see something in my question Rom.-Albanian concordances,
something which would fit with Vinereanu's work?

aproape , cf . Vinereanu
Lat. ad prope > *proque ( cf.proximus). Thus Latin prope is a loan in
clasical Latin from Osco-Umbrian which shows the change of PIE kWe>pe.
Something similar must have happened in Thraco-Dacian, knowing the
similar way to handle the labiovelars in Thraco-Dacian as in
Osco-Umbrian. We consider Prot-Thraco-Dacian *ad-proqua > Thraco-Dacian
*adpropa > Proto-Romanian >apropã> Rom. aproape. Lat. "appropiare" is
found just in the late Latin by the eclesiastic writers

Lat. ad prope (Puscariu, 101; Candrea-Densusianu, 65; REW,197;
Cioranescu, 350). Lat. prope < *proque (cf. proximus). Astfel, lat.
