Alex, refer to our earliest postings on liquid metathesis and the
history of Slavic vowels. The difference between the treatment of *-roC-
and *-orC- (as in *groziti and *gorditi, respectively) has been
explained to you a dozen times or so. I'm not going to go through it all
once again, since the fact that you continue to make the same point
proves that you did not understand the previous explanations, or you
have managed to forget them (or you deliberately balance on the verge of
obnoxiousness, but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt). I SHUT DOWN
this tired thread. If you have any complaints about this, please direct
them to me _off-list_.
