I wish I would see the context too. As for the rest, I am not aware of
any linguist beside Reichenkron which considered Romanian to be simply
the Dacian language with the respectable Latin influence. See his work
"Das Dakische rekonstruiert aus dem Rumänischen". I don't agree either
with Reichnekron in many points and today I can say just only one thing.
There is for sure a lot of lexical material which was considered wrongly
to derive from Latin.
