how you see the dardic gho > kU ?

even in Latin "carpisculum"= Art Schuhwerk, see Old Indic "cairem
(*karpios) to flick, there are a lot of derivatives in almost all IE
languages:
lith kurpe, Lethonian kurpe, Curch Slavic krUpa, Old Prussian kurpe,
etc.
IE root *qerep= Zeug oder Lederlappen ; the root is related to
*(s)qerep= schneiden, etc. etc.
