So what is the etymology? Maize is known as Moorish corn (Cat. blat
de moro), Turkish corn (Ita. granturco), Sarracene corn (Fr. blé
sarrasin), Indian corn (We. indrawn), Arabian corn (Grk. aravosítos)
or Egyptian corn (Tur. mIsIr buGday). Is this "Malay corn"?
