>What is the origin of Chinese Phenix?
There is a town in Arizona by the same name (
http://phoenix.gov/)
but the name is Greek and is correctly spelled "phoenix".
However, the Greeks had borrowed their term from Egyptians.
(Check out [bn.w].)
The concept seems to relate to "dragons" imo and was originally
a water symbolism. I feel that Chinese mythology was greatly
affected by the mythologies further west.
>"Dark Warrior", turtle (or turtle and serpent)
Like Ninja Turtles?
