I am not sure. The rom. "miez" is not from Latin "medium" and I do not
forget the Thracian "Mez" in "Mez-umbria". I guess the Alb. mëriz is a
loan from Aromanian "merizã", but for disco, I have no ideaa since in
Rom. Lang-. "disco" is unknown.
