Although, Toresten, someone on the ABH group said this was a False
Etymological Method, and that the Germani mentioned by Herodotus in
Persia is the same as Kirmani.
I was thinking this tribal name Germani used for the Germanic peoples,
the Germani in Andalusia, and the Germani in Persia may have been a
cognate Indo-European word.

But who knows what to make of all this?
