From Liddell:
"hippêmolgoi [amelgô] the mare-milkers, a Scythian or Tartar
tribe, Il."
The word literally _means_ "mare milkers" and is derived (in
Greek) from "amelgô".
Also "hippêmolg-hia , hê, milking of mares, Scymn.855 (pl.)."
