That sounds interesant.
If the long "o" evoluate in "e" in Albanian then the primary form should
have been an brosk- too there.
What about the pie gW in alabian ? does it become an "b" or not, or just
sometimes?
I gave in romanian just brosc- since this is the root for all
derivatives:
broascã= feminine
broscoi= masculine
broscutsã= diminutive
broscan= masculine too
There is known too the word "broatec/brotac" ;this is not a frosh but
akin to it. DEX gives it as latin brothacus ( hyla arborea) which seems
OK from the phonological aspect.
