The aromanian form is "fumeal'ã" (See Capidan, Dialectul Aroman. Studiu
lingvistic)
there is an "u" my dear, like too in dacoromanian is to find "fumeie".
If a Latin "a" become an "u" then I can forget everything. It seems
there are rules better as Jesus. And he was too a big one making from
wather wine.
Remeber ? an /o/ became "u" but not before /m/
Accepting that familia > fomelia it could not get into "fumeia".
Or which should be the way here?
