The idea that there is a connection between Dacians and Danes is an
old one as you probably know. I claim the identity of course partly
tongue in cheek, but, according to mr. Popper's recipe, as long as I
have not been proven wrong, the theory is a working theory. Please do
post some paragraphs of mr. Burnham's work; I have had been similarly
reminded myself.
BTW I must retract the claim that proving the Dacians and the Goths
to be in the same place and time would refute my "theory"; the idea
was to claim (with Jordanes) an identity between Getae and Goths, the
Dacians being a separate people (although speaking the same
language).
