Hmm, it kinda reminds me of *pnkW-sti- "fist" (or literally,
"fiveful"?). Actually, what is *-sti- doing there anyway?
A collective suffix? That could make sense for "hen". Does
*xwi-st-ax suit your fancy? Sadly, I don't know as much
about BaltoSlavic languages as I should.
