In response to your Email. Based on the inscription the copy
you sent of the script from Crete appears to be from a
funerary stele or marker of some kind. On morphological grounds
appears to be a mix of 11th or 10th century Phoenician and
some form of early Greek. However, if I've correctly
translated the text, some words are a Greek-like dialect
and some are Tyrrhenian. If I've correctly translated the
text, the name of the deceased, their father/mother, an
event, and several place names are mentioned.
