Thanks ARKURGAL for your support against Glen's mixmash of Middle
Eastern ideas wrongly transcibed to IE. Just one thing -

Glen tries to associate Venus as Goddess of the underword. Classical
Venus did not have the Goddess of War epithet that her Middle Eastern
counterpart Ishtar had. That was assumed in Grecian myth by Athena,
who had none of Venus's associations with erotic love (also possessed
by Ishtar).

Glen also goes to great lengths to find as association between Mars,
Baal and Nergal. Unfortunately Nergal was not a God of War, Ishtar
was originally. Nergal (= Great Sickness) was a God of
Pesilence. Ninurta became God of War later. Again wrong divinity,
wrong association.
