Glad you wrote this. I disctinctly remember reading somewhere that they
found a reference to a ruler at one of the Philistine cities, Gath I
believe, who had a Indo-Aryan name,(proto-indic). But I can't remember
the reference so I didn't want to toss it out. Also I couldn't remember
the timing on it.
