This human buttons thing has been going around at least a year now...I
hadn't seen it for a while, but I knew instantly from the subject line
what it was.

My guess is that it is sent out occasionally as a propaganda campaign by
certain spambot networks. I never looked into it, but it is common
enough that there is probably some analysis available on the net - it
may be possible that someone on each of the lists is in fact
inadvertently part of the spambot network..
