For firefox, one work around I use, IF the web author
has added langauge tagging to a pages markup, is to to
use a CSS language psuedo selector in Firefox's
userContent.css file to override all font sytle
information for text in the specified language.

We use the trick for some Sudanese languages that will
only display correctly if a couple of specific fonts
are used. This way my prefered font for that language
is always used.

It only works if the web page has langauge tagging.

Andrew
