People!

I signed up on this list because I have a genuine
interest in alphabets, syllabaries, logographs,
ideographs, yadda yadda yadda. I'm not necessarily the
smartest or most knowledgable person about this stuff,
but I am fascinated and want to learn more in a
respectful, thoughtful, calm, and encouraging
environment.

I did NOT sign up on this list because I wanted to see
people's questions and opinions trashed, or to watch
people insult each other over and over with no seeming
point except the inflation of their own egos.

Please, people! Can we return to the point of this
group? I'm dying to.
