It's a pain to do, but I've done it and it's only tedious, not
difficult, and the results are perfectly satisfactory. I lack any
genuine artistic skill, and so creating a font using traditional tools
is something I simply cannot do. I *can* however program a Metafont
which is at least tolerable, and it's nice to be able to make my own
fonts that way.
