I'd happily agree, except that I've talked with the staff of the
newspaper; the headlines were, and might still be, written around midnight
at the printing plant in Framingham, about halfway between Boston and
Worcester. I have a standing offer to proofread the headlines, but it's
really out of the question because I have no car, and public
transportation stops around midnight. It's the Daily (formerly Waltham)
News-Tribune, iirc a CNC publication.

I was an associate editor (for technical content) about 25 years ago. Had
a copy editor who was really fond of starting sentences with "And...". We
made our peace...
