That reminds me of Maharashtra. More generally, it brings to mind
transliterations that have quite-different lengths in the two different
scripts. One example might be "Chechnya" in Cyrillic (Чечня ?) vs. German,
if it's "Tschetschnya" in the latter. (Corrections welcome.)
