That's font-dependent. The combining overline (as opposed to the macron)
guarantees continuity with its neighbors, and is specified for use with
letters-as-numbers and with abbreviations. For the syllabic-consonant
use, the combining macron, the combining grave (in Akhmimic text),
and the combining dot above (in Bohairic text) are preferred.

This proposal provides a core Coptic set; in particular, it does not
handle all dialects, and it does not handle Old Nubian at all.
