I know this may sound like a weird question, but does anyone know of a
site that explains some sort of guidelines for using in/on/at when it
comes to webites (or was it Web sites)? I mean, sometimes it is obvious
which one goes, but all too often it seems to depend on the analogy the
author is using (should a homepage be treated as a home or a page?). I
know it falls pretty much in the same category of evolving language as
"on line", "on-line" or "online", and there may be no consensus just
yet, but if anyone know where to find this info I'd really appreciate it.
