| in fact, i have constant difficulty with l (l.c. "ell") vs. I (cap
| "eye") vs. 1 (roman "one"). in many fonts, 2 or 3 of these are
| indistinguishable.
This similarity has in fact been used by viruses to camouflage
infected files on Windows systems. I forget which virus it was, but
one renamed run32.dll to run32.dIl, and installed itself in its place
as a hidden file. The user would then see only run32.dIl, and think it
was run32.dll, since the system font has exactly this problem on
Windows.
