If you have a Windows 2000 system, you can already do Korean (though you may need to change some installation options). If you have a Win9x/Me system and Office 2000 or Office XP, then you can already do Korean (though you may need to change some installation options in Office). If you have a Win9x/Me system and Office 97, you can view but not enter Korean. In that case, or if you have a Win9x/Me system and don't have a version of Office since Office 97, then you can get support for Korean by installing Internet Explorer 5.x or 6.0 and selecting the installation option for Korean support.
Of course, you need an app that can handle either Unicode or MS codepage 949.
