Dear Juozas,

Have you managed to fix this problem yet? If your card has been properly installed, the only thing that you need to do is plug the microphone in and start recording. Check if the volume control in the "Audio Properties" (or whatever) of your sound recorder is not set too low. A trivial thing like that often proves to be the problem.

Looking forward to your recordings and questions,

Piotr

Hello. I wanted to ask some question on some American accents but I
feel a little mp3 file would help. So I got a microphone and.. failed
to record anything. I thought it was easier. I got an AWE64 sound
card, plugged the mike into the MIC IN jack of the soundcard and
pressed the record button on the Windows Sound recorder. No sound.
Piotr, you have posted some sound files here, maybe you could help?
Thanks to everyone.
