It seems that more than enough solutions have already been given, but just in case anyone is looking for yet one more, you can download an older version of Firefox from their site that should work (I haven't yet tried it since I've taken a detour and am now learning Sanskrit). All the same, I've been looking into using a different browser anyway, so I'll give the others suggested a go, thanks everyone =)
