Re: Abhidhammavatara translation

Does anyone know if the Abhidhammāvatāra has been translated into a European
language?

Rob Moult, a Canadian living in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, asked me if anyone
had undertaken a translation of this work. I know that Lance Cousins had but
did not live to complete it. I wonder if the work he had done so far might
have been saved for some future would-be translator to complete and bring to
publication. The Pāli text (1416 verses) is in the CST4 collection along
with its purāṇaṭīkā and abhinavaṭīkā and is one of the texts in
Buddhadatta's Manuals published by PTS.
