Hi Chris,

No problem, I'll seen you the two files shortly. The list is useful for
finding a particular verbal root and its meaning quickly. There are 1687
Pāli dhātus listed and numbered as per H. Smith's critical edition. The
files aren't error-free and the roots aren't numbered in the Dhātumālā
text (from CST4).  For further studiy it is interesting to compare the Pali
roots to the Sanskrit roots found in Pāṇini's Dhātupāṭha which has about
2000 roots with their meanings.

Best wishes,

Jim

Jim,

If it's no hassle, could you send me the Dhātumālā file and the list of
roots only that you prepared? It'd be nice to have in my files for future
reference. I couldn't find the Dhātumālā or Saddanīti on tipitaka.org, but
I haven't yet been home to install and explore the CST4 on myPC, and have
been having an issue getting it to work properly on my Linux laptop.

Mettā,
Chris
