Dear Florent,

Thanks for the translation; the mystery words are beginning to make more sense now.

I've tried to install the PCED on an Android six, but it crashes, so perhaps not compatible.

Thanks again for your help,

Best wishes, Bryan

Dear friends,

The dictionary you are talking about is included in the free android app PCED (Pali dictionary Android Version) together with many other dictionaries which you can install on your phone. You can even go to a monastery in Yangon where they will install on your iPad a huge bundle of dictionaries, suttas, atthakatha, tika, nissayas and many more interesting documents. Finally there is also a small device called the Tipitaka Pocket Computer that contains all these files, but I think they discontinued it because it was too small and buggy...

I had a go at the translation:

mukhabherika:မုခဘေရိက(န)

The production of sound (မြည်ခြင်း) similar to the crowing sound (တွန်သံ) of a peafowl (a large pheasant found mainly in Asia) [made] with the mouth.

Hope this helps,

Florent
