Sorry,

I just found out that it the "vasittha" could be 2nd, aor, plural.  And being with mā, it implies prohibition.  But cause it is plural, so it means the Solitary Buddha will live with another person/animal - maybe the dog [this is the sentence said by the cowherd to the Solitary Buddha]?

Dear all,

I am translating this sentence:

So’pi «bhante, mā ciraṃ bahi vasitthā»ti avadi

All words are clear, except Vasittha.  I think it is from the root (vas)

The sentence will be like this:  He said:  "Venerable, don't live outside for longtime"

However, I do not know the grammar type of vasittha, its ending seems strange

Please kindly give me your advice
