Just a quick explanation of "bāhusaccassa".
One might have first thought the sacca part refers to a similar word meaning
"truth" but on checking the commentaries one finds bāhusaccaṃ being
explained as bahussutassa bhāvo and according to the Niruttidīpanī the "u"
of -succa (< -sut + ya) is changed to "a". It is clear from this that
bāhusacca is a taddhita noun derived from the primary derivative compound
"bahussuta" by adding the suffix "ya" (which stands for bhāva) which in turn
causes bahu- to change to bāhu- (ya is added to bahussuta, not to suta
alone). I can't explain the reduction of -ss- to -s- however.
