Re: Sanskrit Dictionary Software

Dear all,

I think for a sophisticated language like Sanskrit, the Dictionary is a must, ideally we should develop softwares for facilitating the investigating process if we have enough conditions. So much rules for human natural memory. I really admire the Sanskrit scholars in 18th, 19th centuries with all my heart, cause they must use their memory, time and health maximally. Sometimes I'm also curious that whether they had strategies or tips for their studying

@ Dear Venerable Yuttadhammo: I have tried the Sanskrit plugin many times, however I think it's still in low level, I can not look up for a simple but pratical word like "gacchati", or "dharma"... That is just my feedback, not a further suggestion for your improvement. I quite know you have your own works. The DPR was already a great contribution for us

The dpr has a Sanskrit dictionary plugin, if that is useful... It doesnt integrate like the Pali stuff, of course. Could be done, would take some serious work.
