Although khanti is now commonly translated as "patience", a wider survey of the Suttas suggests to me that "acceptance" may cover the occurrences better.

Anyway, my teacher Bhante Aggacitta translates the compound as "considered acceptance of a view".

Hi,

How do you translate this?

ditthi-nijjhana-kkhanti

ditthi - views
ni - without
jhana - jhana
khanti - patience

Thanks,
Jo Wee
