Dear Petra,

Thanks for passing along the information about the GRETIL website. For
accessing Pali and Sanskrit texts that are mostly in the Devanagari script,
I have been finding the Digital Library of India website
(http://www.dli.ernet.in/) a good resource. It has many of the volumes of J.
Kashyap's Indian edition of the Tipiṭaka . Also many Pali and Sanskrit
grammatical texts including Mmd in the Sinhalese script (the edition listed
in CPD).

Best wishes,

Jim

Dear all,

I'd like to direct your attention to the GRETIL homepage, where your can
find original Sanskrit and Pāli texts.

The Pāli Text Society now makes available the text of the PTS editions  on
GRETIL (see website).  Thanks to Dr. Grünendahl the files will be available
in two versions, one corresponds to the original layout, allowing to quote
according to page and line, the second is the continuous text without
footnotes etc., and allows to search the texts. At present the Apadāna and
the Saṃyuttanikāya are available. Further texts are in progress.

Hope it will be useful for all of us,
Petra Kieffer-Pülz
