I wonder if you're somehow still using an older version of the DPR; I just tried P1.0001 in the vinaya and it comes up with

Vin 4, 1. mahākhandhako, 1. bodhikathā, para. 1 ⇒

1. tena P1.0001 samayena buddho...

To search for a page number, use the following syntax: P1.0001, P1.0002, etc., where "P" (or V, M, T) is the PTS pagination set, the first "1" is the volume, and the following (must be four digits) is the page number.

So, what shall it be for Vin.IV,272? I've tried V4.0272 and P4.0272. None works.
